WHAT IS THE FELDENKRAIS METHOD

The Feldenkrais Method (creation of the Israeli Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais) is a method of physical retraining to improve mobility.
It focuses on the relationship and interaction of the nervous and our musculoskeletal system, and aims at a balanced cooperation between them, necessary for the ergonomics and accuracy of every human action.
It uses moderate movement and guided attention to increase the range and ease of movement and the overall improvement of human functionality in all fields.

Rotation of the spine

This workshop focuses on improving the torsion of the spine necessary for walking, freedom of movement of the head and sight!
When the rotational movement is gradually enlarged along the length of the body (from the pelvis and waist to the chest and neck) the effort we make to turn, substantially decreases, since it is harmonically distributed in all regions of the body.

TO WHOM IT IS RECOMMENDED

The Feldenkrais method benefits those suffering from pain at the back, neck, shoulders, hips, knees or have physical disabilities, and those who wish to broaden their movement abilities. Musicians, actors, athletes and dancers expand their skills and creativity. Elderly people are helped to maintain or regain their ability to move effortlessly, without difficulty or pain.
Among the immediate benefits of the method is the most functional posture and body movement, increased breathing capacity, reducing pain and stress and improving the overall self-image.

* What to bring along: Comfortable clothes and socks and a small blanket or a piece of fabric, towel, etc.
