Dimitris Kaminaris

He studied classical dance and was for ten years a ballet dancer. His training began in 1968 with a number of teachers such as: Yiorgos Alexiou, Ellen Tsoukalas, Leonidas De Pian, Daniel Lommel and Harry Mandafounis.
He studied and worked with Harry Mandafounis’ team, Leonidas Depian and Daniel Lommel. He collaborated as a dancer with the National Opera, Aenaon Dance Theatre, Leonidas De Pian, Chororoes, Persa Stamatopoulou, Harry Mandafounis, Beskou Christina, Sophia Spyratou, Apostolia Papadamaki and more.
Has danced in Greece and abroad: Brussels, Amsterdam, London, Liverpool, Stockholm, Florence, Venice, Naples, Paris, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Lyon, Slovenia, Lithuania, Romania etc. He teaches classical ballet at professional schools since 1983, including the State School of Dance (2001-2003).
In July 2015, he participated in the production of «Priority» of Antonis Foniadakis under the Athens and Epidaurus Festival.
Since 2009 he teaches at the dance studio "Metanira".
