Bios
Paul completed his dance training at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts. After performing with the West Australian Ballet (2003) and working professionally with Buzz Dance Theatre (2004-2005), he decided to venture overseas. By 2006 he was already
working in N.Y.C and London with both - Battery Dance Company and Jasmin Vardimon Company, where he toured various performances internationally. That same year he was also awarded best male dancer in the Ausdance Awards and in 2007(AUS) he was awarded best male performer by Article19 (London-UK). Paul has created/assisted
choreographically for various artists and companies throughout the world including: Jasmin Vardimon, Rootlessroot Company, 50collective, Athina Vahla & the “Dancing to Connect” programme which has currently reached over 54 countries worldwide.Ιn 2010 Paul participated in the ’50Days’ workshop lead by Master David Zambrano. Training and performing in both ‘Flying Low’ & ‘Passing Through’ techniques with 50 dancers from around the globe. He also leads various seminars and workshops in such establishments as: Sadlers Wells – London, Dance New Amsterdam - New York, Hubbard Street Dance – Chicago, SEAD – Austria, K.S.O.T. – Athens, Strut Dance – Australia. In 2013 Paul was invited to take part in “TIERRAS ENAMORADAS” created by David Zambrano where they performed in Brussels.
He is currently working towards the further development and new creations within his own company ‘Jukstapoz Co’ which have recently choreographed for Sandlers Wells, Sussexs Down Collage, SEAD and K.S.O.T and now the Icelandic Performing Arts Academy.
Christine graduated from the Athens National School of Dance (K.S.O.T) in 2004. The same year she also received the scholarship for ImpulsDanz (DanceWEB) In 2005 she became a company member of the Jasmin Vardimon Company(UK) and was a influential part of the creation of ‘Justitia’ & ‘Yesterday’ which she toured nationally and internationally.
She participated in past productions of the Hellenic Dance Company which consisted of works from several renowned choreographers such as Wim Vandekeybus, Rootlessroot Dance Company, Anton Lachky, Pascal Rioult, Athina Valha and others.
In 2010 Christine took part in ’50days’ workshop with Master David Zambrano in Costa Rica, which consisted of training and performing within the ‘Flying Low’ and ‘Passing Through’ techniques in partnership with 50 dancers from around the world.
Christine has toured in Australia, Asia, Europe and the U.S.A collaborating, performing and leading seminars and workshops in (Salzburg Experimental Acadamy of Dance, Greenwich Dance, Sadlers Wells, Hubbard Street Dance, Dance New Amsterdam, Strut Danc, Icelandic Listaháskóli)
She has also been rehearsal director for Anton Lachky and Athina Vahla in various performance’s. In 2012 she became rehearsal director for the Jasmin Vardimon Company where she was part of the creative team and responsible for the tour of the latest production of ‘Freedom’.
In 2013 Christine was a part of David Zambrano’s latest project “Tierras Enamoradas” which was performed in Brussels.
She now works in developing ‘Jukstapoz Co.’ and is working on their current new creations. They have choreographed for Sadlers Wells, K.S.O.T., SEAD, Sussex Downs U.K and the Icelandic Listaháskóli.
