KONSTANTINOS GERARDOS
Contact Improvisation
“Weightless body”

1st Week – 2 hours/day
17:00 – 19:00

This workshop will explore the ways and strategies through which we can share our weight with our partner.
Using the architectural structure of our body and the dynamic that develops between the two bodies in contact, we will discover the ways through which we can lift and carry our partner in space during the dance.

- How can I offer my weight without becoming a burden?
- How can I absorb thrust moments created by the momentum developed by the bodies in motion particularly during a lift?
- What is the safest way for landing and how the body is organized during the fall?

Questions to be explore during the workshop "WEIGHTLESS BODY"
