MÉLISSA GUEX & EMRE YıLDıZLAR
PHYSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP
Jacques Lecoq’s pedagogy

2nd Weekend – 2 hours/day
12:30 – 14:30

The work is about breaking down the barriers between dance and theatre and, above all, communicating ideas and feelings through the body. It’s not finding a movement to a meaning but finding the meaning of the movement. We are not dancing nor acting, we are doing.

The work pushes the physical limit in order to find the virtuosity in the actions.

During this travel, we'll propose solo research and chorus movement. Giving to the group the power of supporting or excluding and receiving as a meme the energy and the strength from the others.

The duo met during their studies in the international physical theater school in Bruxelles, Lassaad. Since then, they are working together, playing in festivals and giving workshops in Switzerland, Turkey, Greece and Belgium.

- The classes are given in English, French and Turkish.
- Professionals and amateurs are welcome.
